During our long relationships with clients, we have observed that collecting and analysing data using Probench is not the only outcome our clients produce while conducting an assessment or a benchmark.
Many other efforts go out of the Probench, and being a technology partner; we would like to assist our clients in figuring out a better way to achieve those outputs more efficiently. In short, we would like to achieve the following for our clients:
Save time - By suggesting existing tools and technologies
Increase Productivity- By suggesting automation so no or less manual intervention
Reduce Risk - By providing clarity on the feasibility of the solution and alternatives
In this step, we will try to understand and scope the requirement. This will be a brainstorming session with our clients to have a “Why Conversation”. The objective is to talk you out of the project. There are three categories of Why questions:
We also try to understand expected outcomes, which would help us share a probable solution. In this call, we will be happy to tell you about the working solutions that we have developed in the past. We do a detailed deliberation with you at this step in case there is any alternative that can be used etc...
If there is a need, we do some internal team discussion after the call to answer any left-out questions.
Deliverables: We will provide a details discovery document and the call recording.
We will have an internal deliberation and carry out solution research that could help you to achieve the expected outcome. We will compile as many feasible solutions as we can demonstrate to you. If, during this step, we discover that non of the proposed solution will work for you. We will stop the Discovery and share the findings with you. We will not proceed with Steps 2 and Step 3
When we succeed, we will go ahead and create wireframes, mockups, examples, screen captures etc., to clarify what the solution would look like and how it will work when implemented. This will help reduce the risk of starting to build something and then realising that the solution is either not viable or is not exactly as per your expectations.
In this step, we will have the final call to demonstrate and explain the feasible solutions so that you get a complete picture of how the solution would work. This makes it easy for you to decide before spending time and effort on the project
In the past, we helped clients make no-go decisions that saved them up to 50,000 GBP. Thus making this step in the process more valuable even if you are not happy with the solution.
